Terms and Conditions

  • Stage 1 handpiece service check pricing includes changing sealing rings, seal, washer and o-rings. Stage 2 includes Stage 1 parts plus ball bearings. Stage 3 (not listed) includes Stage 1 parts and rotor.
  • All repairs require a final assessment from A-dec Technician to evaluate which stage the handpiece is in and total repair costs.
  • A-dec Australia only repair and service W&H Handpieces ( Synea Vision, Synea Fusion & Alegra), Air Motors and Electric Motors. All other brands and W&H Surgical handpieces are excluded.
  • 24-48 hour (business hours) turnaround time commences when the handpiece is under assessment by an A-dec Technician and subject to parts availability and senders request to repair or provide quote.
  • Pricing is subject to change without notice.
  • All warranty claims must include a valid copy of invoice.
  • All repairs include 6 months warranty on parts and labour.

Step 1:  Download the W&H Handpiece Service and Repair Form

Step 2: Download a prepaid postage label and securely fix to parcel

  • Prepaid postage is not registered or tracked and remains the responsibility of the sender until received by A-dec Australia.
  • A new pre-labelled postage bag will be included in your return. Ready for your next service!

Step 3: Send your repair with a copy of the form to A-dec Technical Service

If you wish to open an account with A-dec Australia, please complete form and send back with your repair.

How do I know A-dec has received my repair?
Our team will send you an acknowledgement e-mail to inform you we have received your handpiece and your job number. It’s important you provide us with a correct e-mail address in the repair form. 

How do I check the status of my handpiece repair?
Please call A-dec Technical Service on 1800 029 333 and have your job number handy (refer to your acknowledgement e-mail).

What is the lead time for repairs?
Our turnaround time is 24-48 hours (business hours) from the time our technician starts first assessment. This also depends on parts availability and approval for repair.

What if I want a quote prior to repair?
We’re happy to offer you a quote upon request. The quote response time may extend lead times.

What if I don’t accept the quote?
We have no problem with that! However, the handpiece maybe be returned disassembled. The sender will be charged a return fee and a handling fee may occur if the handpiece is reassembled. 

What if I don’t wish to provide my credit card details on the form?
Our team is happy to contact you and take your credit card details over the phone. Please note, A-dec does not retain any credit card details after the repair is complete

When do I know the repair is completed?
Our team will send you an e-mail to notify you we’re sending back your repair with a tracking number and payment has been charged to your credit card or account. A copy of the transaction will be e-mailed to you via WestPac Payway.
