A-dec Dental Equipment Is Renowned for Reliability
Not all dental equipment is created equal. Most dental companies simply assemble their products from ready-made parts. But A-dec manufactures a large majority of the components that go into our dental equipment—everything from tubing to dental chair cylinders—to ensure lasting quality and reliable performance.
The commitment to producing superior products is just one reason dentists consistently rank A-dec highest for reliability and long-term value.
A-dec quality shows in every detail
Unwavering attention to detail is the reason A-dec is synonymous with quality. Every piece of A-dec dental equipment is carefully and thoughtfully designed—right down to the parts you can't even see.
Dental chair lift cylinder
Built by A-dec to control tolerances and precision. This adds life to the cylinder and makes it especially effective at preventing leaks. Backed by a 10-year warranty.
AlphaSan antimicrobial tubing
To meet exacting specifications, A-dec extrudes its own AlphaSan antimicrobial tubing, optimising the life of the entire waterline maintenance system.
Lightweight yet durable, A-dec’s water syringe has a solid brass body and inner copper tip to resist corrosion. It’s autoclavable for convenient asepsis.
Dental chair headrest glidebar
We finish A-dec dental equipment inside and out. A premium plating process protects it from corrosion and scratches even when exposed to water and surface disinfectants.
Tested for 20 years of rigorous use
A-dec's legendary reliability comes from continuous testing—backed with the assurance of a five-year warranty.
A-dec designs and builds its dental equipment and dental cabinets to withstand the unique demands of a dental operatory, then tests them to last for 20 years of consistent daily use.
The A-dec 500 dental chair is qualified for a 500 lb (227 kg) patient. But it’s tested to four times the warrantied load to ensure safety. This is a simulated representation of a static load test. As part of the actual stress-point evaluation, a combined load of 2,000 lb (907 kg) was spread across upper and lower sections of the chair.
